Avedia Energy LPG Tank Farm Control and Instrumentation Project - Saldanha Bay
Automation Works was contracted to provide the control and instrumentation systems to Avedia Energy
in Saldanah bay for their bulk LPG (Liquified Petrolium Gas) storage facility.

Scope of work

This was a turnkey project that involved developing a control philosophy in conjunction with the plant design engineer and implementing a control system solution that adhered to the best practices for handling of hazardous product in zoned areas.

Instrumentation

The Control and instrumentation of this project involved the design, supply, installation and commissioning of automatic valves, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, level sensors, automatic valves, pumps, compressors, flow meters and a PLC and SCADA system to control the instrumentation.
